Part-Time Evening
The first part of the study-unit will provide educators with an introduction to the adult language learner and discuss the issues of assessment/placement and course/lesson organization. Teachers will be made aware of the specific characteristics and learning needs of migrants and will learn techniques for building community in the classroom. The second part of the study unit will provide activities designed for students at various levels that are organized thematically around topics such as family, food, and work which are useful for teaching Maltese for integration.
This micro-credential is exclusively being offered to the Department of Inclusion and Access to Learning.
